he “Academy” area is the first renovated part of the Masseria and was once used as a dormitory for all the workers who spent the months of the grape and olive harvest in the fields of Cuturi.

Here, the first archaeological findings also occurred, still visible today inside, with water collection channels from the Messapic era, which then flowed into the wells scattered inside and supplied the land and crops.

The Academy, now brought to new light, is also made unique by its rooftop terrace that offers a “as far as the eye can see” view that, on the clearest days, opens up to the Gulf of Gallipoli.
